David K. wrote at 6:45pm on March 18th, 2008 I did not have just one structure. My staple was a 3x2 (3 main points, 2 subpoints for each). I always did my best to incorporate logically dependent analysis into that structure. However, there were times last year when I would use a 2x3 (2 main points, 3 subpoints for each), but they were much rarer. Does that answer your question, or were you looking for a more specific breakdown of what those structures entail?

Brandon H. wrote at 6:47pm on March 16th, 2008 To the Champ specifically: hey I'm rather new to extemp and had a question about speech structure since the speech structure for Congress is a little more different than that of Extemp. What was your speech structure when you competed last year?
