Finalist Files accepts check, money order, and purchase order via mail or fax. Purchase order terms are net 30. A completed W2 is available upon request.

Ordering Online

Finalist Files accepts online orders with credit card. Credit card orders are processed with PayPal.

After payment, most issues are available for immediate download.


Ordering Online - Detailed Instructions

The following is a detailed set of instructions to assist with buying Finalist Files online. Should you encounter any trouble, please contact us and we will do all we can to assist you.

  • Add desired items to cart
  • Click "View Cart"
  • Click "Checkout"
    • New Customers: Create
    • Existing Customers: Sign in
  • Click "Continue"
  • Click "Confirm Order" -- You will be taken to PayPal to complete payment
    • Pay with credit card(You do not need a PayPal account!)
      • Look for "Don't have a PayPal ?" Click Continue
      • Enter billing information
      • Click "Review Order and Continue"
      • Click "Confirm Order"
      • Click "Return to Merchant" or "Complete Order"
    • Pay with PayPal
      • Login to
      • Complete payment
      • Click "Return to Merchant" or "Complete Order"
  • After payment you will be returned to Finalist Files
  • A download link will appear at the bottom of the page

How do I change my e-mail newsletter preferences?

Where is my download?

I have paid for the issue, but am unable to find the download link.
I accidentally closed my browser before downloading the file.

Solution 1: The download link can be found in your "My Account"

  • Click "My Account" from the top toolbar
  • If prompted, login to your account
  • Click on the order you wish to download (Please note: A completed order's status will show "Delivered")
  • A download button is available to download your issue

Solution 2: Contact Us!

  • If you are still having trouble please contact us. We will send the file via e-mail ASAP.

The file cannot be found

I have found the download link, but when I click it I receive an error about finding the file?

Solution: This error can occur for several different reasons. First, some versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 are unable to download the file. Second, some schools filter the download of our files. If you receive this error, try the following:

  • Attempt to download the file with another browser. (IE 7 or Firefox)
  • Download the file from another computer outside the school's firewall.
  • Contact us and we will e-mail the file ASAP.

What does my order status mean?

My order status shows (see below), what does this mean?

Preparing [PayPal IPN] - The Finalist Files website is awaiting payment confirmation from PayPal.

Successful payment confirmation of Credit Cards and PayPal balances should only take a matter of seconds. If you continue to see this after submitting payment try the following:

  • Ensure that you clicked "Return to Vendor" or "Complete order transaction" after sending PayPal payment
  • Refresh your browser page. (Using F5 will ensure that a cached version is not being shown)
  • If you are still having trouble please contact us. We will respond ASAP.

Delivered - The order and payment have been completed. Your issue is ready for download.


Download count shows zero

My download count is at zero.

In an effort to prevent piracy we have been forced to limit the number of times a file can be downloaded.
